Guided tour system on your smartphone with the Olyusei app
Olyusei has developed a simple, portable, versatile and easy-to-configure guided tour tool. This system can be used for both single-language tours and tours with simultaneous interpretation channels.
It is a great tool for all types of visits: factories, museums or city tours.
User interface
Tour attendees simply download the Olyusei app and enter the event code and PIN we will provide. Once you are in, you just need to click on the event and you will be taken to the main page. Click on “START” and enjoy the tour!
Should there be simultaneous interpreting during the tour, you will be able to choose the language from the selector.
To enjoy a good experience, you will need to be connected to the internet and use your phone’s headphones.
Guide interface
The guide in charge of the visit will also use his or her phone, but with a different configuration to the rest of users.
The guide must use his or her own smartphone, headset with microphone and his or her own internet data (no WIFI) to avoid cuts during the tour.
The guide can, in addition to leading the tour, send video via his own smartphone. This option is very useful and necessary for guided tours that include simultaneous interpretation, so that the interpreters, who would be working remotely, have video of the tour, which is very useful for context purposes.
The interface provides a 2-screen size selector.
Prior to the service, a technical test should be planned with the guide so that he/she can familiarise him/herself with the system, as well as to clarify any doubts and practice.
